I have a design, now what?

Crystal, on August 28, 2019 at 02:56 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 4

Hello lovelies! Seriously need some help with this. I've always wanted my own designed wedding dress when I walk down that isle, and it's all drawn up... but now I need to find a seamstress of some sort, any advice or suggestions?

Hey there Crystal! Have you started searching for a dress maker yet? Have you had any luck finding one to work with?

Have you heard of Anomalie? They're an online custom wedding dress designer and they usually start from scratch with the design process but they may work with the sketch and design you already have done up.

Go to local fabric stores - Fabricville, Fabricland, Atlantic Fabrics and Crafts (whatever the equivalents are in Ontario) - and ask the staff if they now any good seamstresses. They are the best and most regular customers at those stores. Chances they'll know at least one or two in the area.

I would post on a wedding swap website looking for seamstresses locally that can put it together. I would ask for references or examples of ones they have put together. you could always call local boutiques and ask if their seamstresses do this as well.
