Hey brides Smiley smile my wedding is still in 5 months away. We were engaged in March last year, and I planned my wedding right away after I got engaged. I have my venue, dress, bridal party dresses, my diy centre piece and decor, dj, officiant, invitations, other vendors...now I feel like Im not doing anything for my wedding planning and I'm worried that I will miss something important.

Can you share your wedding planning experience and if you are already married, what did you remember last minute when planning the wedding? Love ♡

    Awesome! I got a little worried there for a second :p I went into this wedding planning with absolutely zero knowledge, I haven’t even officially attended a wedding before so I was pretty clueless! Haha just wanted to make sure that wasn’t the case Smiley smile

    Have you not already seen a seamstress for a quote? I’m not too sure what is recommended for time, but keep in mind that they may fill up really quick with grad alterations.

    We are not taking a honeymoon as we did our pre-honeymoon already last month! And we do have our wedding rings on hold already..we just need to pick them up. Smiley smile

    I felt the same way at 5 months ago. I'm 2 months and 3 weeks away and still feel like that lol I'm not sure that feeling ever goes away.

    I'm 6 months away and I'm still trying to look for my wedding, hair and make up as well as my bridal party dresses. Make sure you look over the list on here it's pretty helpful.

    I am in the same boat. I got all my stuff done really early on because I wanted it all organized.

    I'm 4 months out and I'm now using this time to finalize and double check things:

    ie. Put together my final day of time line including hair/make up.

    Finished my hair/make up trials

    Going back to visit my venue in about a month to make sure my vision for the florist is correct, then I'll meet with her to complete the order.

    I've also been checking in with my vendors to make sure we're good to go and finalize any details (meeting with my DJ in a couple weeks to make sure they're super clear on everything)

    I'll be doing my wedding dress alterations soon

    Picking up my marriage certificate in about a month


    There's lots to do! Its just all little fiddly stuff.
