View quoted message Sounds just like me. So much to do, but I feel like I’ve got to do everything! We had a short engagement so there’s been a lot stuffed into a very short amount of time. I just went to get my dress altered the other day and I cried all the way home because it cost $385 to alter. Definitely wasn’t expecting that. I think the rest of the stress got to me as well and it just turned into a stress cry 😂

Mine is the last day of the month as well!! I still have so much to do lol. Still don’t know about nails, hair and makeup, or flowers!! Still gotta make the favours and some other DIY projects as well. Oh well. Haha

Hey All,

Im getting married August 24th, little bit stressed but it's my own fault I've been doing everything myself and not asking for much help. Yesterday I literally cried because I spilt my screwdriver. This weekend Im forgetting about the wedding and having a weekend with no planning or anything so it should help. Luckily Im able to take this break because things are all coming together and its just the little things now which I find the hardest to do. Anyway it will all be the way its suppose to be. Hope everything goes well for all you other brides and your day is just gorgeous.

Excited but anxious!! I've been having terrible tummy trouble as out day draws closer...two weeks tomorrow. All the big things are done. Now it's just the small details, and re-working of the seating plan, and timing of hair and make up etc. It's the small details that have me spinning, even though I have several checklists!!!

So excited!! We get married this Saturday. I can’t wait everything is done and good to go other than my bouquets. The flowers I received today were AWFUL. All the roses were already dying and falling apart I was so upset. So I am going tomorrow to get new flowers

I'm getting married on the 11th, and I'm kind of stressing out a little. There are so many little details, but things are coming together for the most part. We have a lot of out-of-town guests, which is adding to the stress prior to the actual day.

We're in a similar boat - getting married in Alberta but live in Manitoba. We are only heading out 2 days early, and there is less to look after (bachelor and bachelorette parties already happened), but there's still making sure we bring everything we need! I keep going over the list of things to pack up and take with us! I really need to call WestJet and see what they say about taking my dress on the plane, too!
