How will you carry your vows during your ceremony?

Joey, on April 2, 2018 at 07:52 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 30

Think you've thought of every possible detail about your wedding ceremony? There are a few things many couples forget to consider.

If you have vows that you'll be reading during you ceremony, where will you store them until you need them?

I don't think that dress has pockets for those vows! How will you carry your vows during your ceremony? 1

We aren’t writing our own vows so we will be repeating them after our priest and Rabbi

My dress has pockets (YASS) so I'll see if whatever the vows are on fits in there, but otherwise will probably give them to the officiant to pass us when we're ready.

I have a bag I just got for all my wedding essentials (including snacks) and I have a little books that says vows. It came in a set one white and one black. So cute!

I'm hoping to find a wedding dress with pockets, but if I don't my MOH is wearing a suit so I will get them to hold my vows haha

I bought vow books. My wedding is small and i needed a way to incorporate my niece and nephew even though I will not have a party. so one of them will be holding the vow books and one will be holding the rings

We will have the vows prepared ahead of time. Thought we would just leave them with the certificate night before so we don't forget them

I’m doing the same with ours! I’ve had them written out in my vow book on our dresser and he hasn’t peaked. We get married this weekend!

I had the whole service written down for the officiant to say and indicate the poem and vows. He had received the paper and payment in the room before heading over to the ceremony site.

If my dress has pockets then I would carry them there, otherwise I may have to put them in my boobs or with my MOH
My fiancé thought our officiant might also hang on to both of our vows and then pass them to us when it's time so this may be an option

As badly as I wanted to read personal vows, my FH is not a public speaker, and gets very nervous, plus he admits he will be emotional... So we are going to create repeat-after-me vows, as personal as we can get them.

    No paperwork for us.

We have our ceremony already written out and it's just vows that we will repeat after the officiant.

I might give them to our officiant to hold. Our groomsmen aren’t wearing suit jackets, so there isn’t really a place for the best man to put them.

My maid of honor will hold on to mine, probably rolled up and tucked away in her bouquet. And my fiance's best man will have his.

We decided to do traditional vows so our pastor will be reading them and we will repeat what he said.

They will be safe in my FH’s pocket. He’s a good one so he won’t read them ahead of time lol.

Not sure if we're writing our own vows yet. If we do go this route, my best friend and his brother would be holding on to them

I don't know! I've been thinking about this. I think I'll have to shove it in a scrape of paper and just hold it along with my bouquet.
