How to find a florist

Sarah, on May 20, 2019 at 22:03 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 9
Hello all,
So I’ve been pretty good about knowing what to look for or knowing what I want in every vendor except for a florist. Any tips? I mainly just need them to be reasonably priced and do delivery

Thank you!! I have no idea about what flowers I want.. I just know I want white and peach and whatever is cheap or in season for August. I’m also looking to fill the bouquets with a lot of greenery to save money there too.

I may sound biased, but I think WeddingWire is your best tool! Our Vendors tab contains listings of vendors, searchable by region, where you can read about their services, submit pricing inquiries, look at photos of their work, and read reviews from real couples who have worked with them before. I got a search started for you - Florists in Ontario.

Do you already know what kind of flowers you want?

Thanks everyone!! Sounds like google is my best friend as usual haha I will see what’s around and start getting in touch. I want all of most of the flowers to be white except maybe some peach but lots of greenery too.

I found quite a few reasonably priced florists through this app actually. Once in contact with them I asked how they got their flowers and if they deliver.

If you have an idea what flowers you want in your bouquet you can ask them what other flowers they think would look nice with it and then ask for an estimate. If they have a website check out their bouquets on there too.

If you're looking for a florists that is reasonably priced and delivers, you will have no problem! Just start calling places and make appointments to talk to people. You will get a better idea of what each florists offers, what makes them different, and who you like best. Good luck!

Check out their past work! That is the biggest thing. Look into social media posts as well from actual weddings that they have done.

Ask your specific questions right away!

Internet has lots of florists to look up in Toronto area. Get as many quotes and narrow down your choices based on pricing and flowers type. Seasonal type can cost less than not in season. Once chosen, book with the one you like and off the list.

    HI Sarah,

If your apart of any local wedding swap sites on FB, I would make a post for recommendations. Also just try the Google like Kelsie said.

My mom recommended a bunch of vendors from her wedding.

im using italflorist. Just a side comment - if you’re doing real flowers be more expensive to start but italflorist was cheaper than I anticipated!

If youre not in ontario, try good old fashioned google. I always checked out my vendors reviews first to get comfortable
