How to add a section to wedding website homepage?

I'd like to add in a section to feature our bridal party, background in how we met and menu options with pictures. How can I best do this? There doesn't seem to be a page that would fit for any of those but it seems strange to not allow such basic content.

Thank you everyone for your replies! I still find it frustrating because I don't want comments on everything I post, but it's a good workaround.

I do all my new pages as blog pages and just add entries as I see fit, but it's the closest to a "blank" page I've found

Have you tried the Blog section? That’s what I use for all of that, plus it’s easy and I can share each blog to Facebook for everyone to see.

Hmm.. I wonder if there's a way to remove the "leave a comment" and the comment count on each blog post then!

The best way that I found was doing a blog section. I found it annoying that there wasn't an easier way. I really wanted each wedding party member and their description with a photo on it. and couldn't. its strange.

I would use the blog page - each blog entry can be a new person? Unless Tech can tell me something about making custom pages and not the ones it offers pre-made?
