How much planning have you done so far?

Well the venue contract is in, a few bridal shows are lined up. A few quotes for cakes and sweets, hot chocolate table. We need to tweak the menu a tad. Make up and hair quotes are still up in the air(pending bridal party opinions and cost). Save the dates and invites are the big discussion lol. We have 2 officiants that we are weighing out. In search of the backdrops and the girls are anxiously searching for their dresses. I have a bridal show in February and a consignment store booked the day after that way I can get a good idea of the various florists in the area and get quotes then. Rings are the toughest for us because there are so many nice ones.Not everyone is computer saavy but I'm trying to utilize the website for organization reasons. My daughter does photography YAY but I still want to find someone for maybe 2 hrs for the ceremony and outdoor photos, a bit of a challenge though. Slow and steady!

So we are about to sign the contract for our photographer. Contract for our ceremony venue is being drawn up. For our reception venue we are in negotiations, but since it's my MOH's workplace it will happen there no matter what numbers they throw at us. MOH will make me the best damn menu I can afford. She already has so many ideas and she's a brilliant chef.
Got quotes for my hair and pretty sure I want to use the salon. Found a place I want to buy my dress from and have a good sense of the style I want.
I also have a sense of all the DIY projects I want for my decor. Will make my own bouquets and centerpieces . Asked a girlfriend to help with graphics for our e-vites and website. Drafted guest list. Looked at spa packages. Started a diet and savings plan.
Need to find an officiant and work out a lot of logistics. Honeymoon literally cant be planned until next year because flights and hotels can be arranged so far in advance. But I'm doing pretty damn well for something 20 months away!!!

We have all of the basics planned now!

I would say we have completed a lot for the wedding. Now we are focus planning the wedding social and are about 50% complete.
