Hey Ladies (And gents) I’m curious to know peoples wedding budgets! 48-50 people $17,000-18,000 budget (including our accommodations etc) in the Mountains. Our photographer is definitely the highest price point, but super happy with her because she has been incredible !

Our budget is 7,000-10,000. We are cutting a lot out though that most brides would spend, mostly because we are pretty young and we are making a huge effort to keep the budget low and it's sort of fun to find ways to save money.

We are using my parent's backyard and renting a tent as the venue, and beginning the ceremony at 7pm and serving dessert instead of dinner which saves a huge chunk of money. It would be June so it wouldn't get dark until after 10pm and we want it dark for our reception so its perfect for us but not something most brides would like doing.

Our venue does not allow for a cash bar unfortunately. We decided corkage was going to be cheaper than open bar; we will have to pay a fee per person and then we buy our own alcohol and they serve it.

I'm also not too concerned if we run out. We're planning on spending about $700-$800 on alcohol (including the corkage fee) and once we run out, we're out.

Do you think you’ll do a cash bar or open bar?

Our budget is just over $18 000 for 120 people in Edmonton. Venue/food/alcohol was the biggest for us. The venue we loved did not offer a cash bar, so we will be paying for alcohol which was not our original plan.
