How many wedding favours!?

Charlotte, on February 2, 2021 at 11:54 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 5
Hi guys!

Planning a wedding is tough enough without covid. We have decided to order playing cards as favours. But now I’m stuck on how many. Does each person take one or each couple? We invited just over 100 and are expecting 90-100 guests. At the same time it’s planned for this summer so who knows what will actually happen! (We’re in Ontario and will have to follow their restrictions at the time. Hoping for up to 100 outside but will have to see. And some guests might not be comfortable coming depending on the covid situation!)

That’s what I figured! I guess just still too early for an exact number. I’ll have to wait a while and revisit then.

Playing card as favours per person to make sense of it. I had a crystal motive tealight holder that was per household, couple and single individual since it was a home decor piece.

Once you get the final count, you can put out the number needed for each seat setting.

It's normally one per person for favors not per couple or family.

If you're putting them at place settings then 1 per person. If you're having a table with favors I would say 1 per invitation sent.

A lot of people forget favors so having fewer than your guest list should still work out ok. Some people might grab one for them and one for their spouses while others will leave them behind so it evens out.

If you're ordering favors, I would do one per person not one per couple. It seems weird to have someone potentially leave empty handed and not everyone attending might be a couple.
