Booked: Ceremony venue. Reception venue (includong food and drinks) Photographer. Florist is being finalized.
Really the last vendor is the officiant!
Don't get me wrong, I still need to create or work out a lot of details but I think that's the last major thing. I am going to ask for a DOC for Christmas though. :p

I have our photographer (mother in law), videographer, cake, hair/makeup. DJ, venue, officiant. I recently got the bridesmaids dresses all picked out, flowers and I have my dress.
    I'm basically done- I'm 8 months out!

None yet. Although the plan is an outdoor backyard Wedding (my aunt has an awesome backyard with an amazing garden) a and she also owns a party rental business, so tables chairs linens and place settings are taken care of. And a tent just in case.

We are just doing a private ceremony now, and postponing the party for now (maybe next year? maybe skipping altogether) because of a surgery I need that threw a wrench in our plans Smiley atonished

LOL exactly! So I'll just do it myself with a glass of wine or something. I'll be fine- it just feels very "final" to make the call, so I've been dragging my feet.

I just need a makeup person, and possibly another hair person... My stylist says he can handle all four BM, flower girl and myself but I really don't want him stressed since he is also my main wedding helper... We will be having a trial run on Sunday for me, my sister, and neice so we will see how it goes.

I get that... If I were to get Troy to cancel a vendor I would be in the same room and we would have gone over the script before.

Nah- I'm hoping to keep the relationship in case we want to book them for another party after.
Not that I think FH can't do it, I'm just a control nut! I want to be part of the conversation.

Sounds like a job for wine! But for real, maybe have that be a FH job? Might make it a bit easier for you

I contacted the hair salon school within the school I teach at to arrange for two students to come do our hair at the hotel since they can't open up the salon without one of their teachers.

Cake is by a friend who does cakes as her job.

Food is a family bbq potluck.

Flowers are me and my mom: origami style

I'm sorry you have to give up your reception... That sounds like a FH job.

All of the ones I need, except for hair.
