How many hair/makeup trials did you do before you found your look?

I booked just the one trial for both, but I booked it on the same day so that I can get the full visual. I've been on Pinterest looking at hair styles since I got my gown and I found the one that I am in love with. My hair stylist also told me to bring in my veil as well as my hair piece, so that I can get the full visual and so that I'm not surprised the morning of. She said she's done hair for so many weddings and there are a lot of brides that forget this and they end up not liking how everything looks together the morning of their wedding.

I did one. i didnt like my hair too much so im gonna have it donw on my wedding day but im not paying again to have it redone lol

I did 1 hair trial and we found it on the first go, and then all I did for makeup was practice doing my wing eyeliner as well as had some pictures on Pinterest pinned for inspo on the day of. (never actually did a trial on makeup seeing as how I did it myself/ my MOH did it)

I haven't gone yet but I'm paranoid that I'll hate it. I figure it's worth the extra cash to know that I'll love it and to see how it stays in so I would be willing to pay for a second one if the first one wasn't what I wanted.


I would definitely speak with the stylist and see what can be done about a second appointment. I would be shocked if they didn't charge you as their time is very valuable.

I'll be going in with exactly the look I want so there's not much room for error so I plan on doing just the 1 trial. Like Kelsie though, I could do as many as I'd like but would have to pay each time.

Your hairstylist and mention you weren’t crazy about your hair and would she be willing to try something else out? They may charge you though - just keep that in mind.
