How many Guests will stay the night?

Hi everyone,

Needing some help or advice or opinions...

We are hoping to host 120 guests at a family resort for our wedding. Only con is, we are required to book 30 rooms for both Friday and Saturday night which are 230$ per night.

My fear is that not everyone will want to stay both nights or be able to afford both night. We are wondering if anyone has some feedback about this? We have not booked the venue yet as we are going to look at it first in a few days.

Any help or tips greatly appreciated.

How far are people traveling from their home town? And are there other accommodations near by?
A good chunk of people will likely stay the night if they have to drive 2+ hours to get to the wedding but I can't imagine they will stay two nights. And most people will choose to drive a few minutes instead of opting for the on-site accommodations if they're cheaper and in decent shape.

If the location is far enough guests will likely want to stay. Maybe ask around and see what guests say they would likely do.
Just to give you an idea, we’re having essentially a destination wedding for 50 guests and have 15 rooms for the night before, and 10 for the night of. Guests are either sharing, staying just for a night, driving home, or staying elsewhere nearby.
