How long is your reception?

Cocktail hour: 5:30-6:30

Dinner: 7-8:30

Dancing: 8:30-1

Cocktails are from 4:30-5:30

Dinner starts at 6pm

Dinner ends at 8pm-ish and dancing starts

Bar closes at 1am

Ideally we want as short as possible. Preferably about 4 hours. Over around 8-8:30 pm at the latest.

Cocktail hour(s) goes from 3:30-5:30 then dinner and party till 12 then afterparty if people are still up for it at a house we rented

Our cocktail hour will be from 5:00pm till 6:00pm, then the guests will be seated for dinner at 6:00pm then we have the space until 1:00am!

We are planning to have the Cocktail starts at 5.00 pm right after the Ceremony. Grand Entrance at 6.30 pm and the party will continue until midnight.

All together, 5:30pm to 1am!

5:30-6:30pm is cocktail hour, 6:15 is grand entrance and dinner served at 6:30pm.

We might be doing the shoe game, which would be at 7:30pm

Speeches are 8:30-9pm and first dance is at 9pm.

Dancing (and open bar) go from 9pm-1am

It was supposed to start at 5:30, but some people arrived earlier, so the staff started serving the cocktail a little sooner. We arrived at the set time, and most people were already there. We left around midnight, but we were told the next day that a bunch of people stayed until 2 am.

We were thinking from 5:45 till whenever the liquor permit cuts us off! Lmao we have the venue for the weekend!! Yay!! Lol but for those who won't be staying I'm thinking of having the last bus back to the city at 1am making it a total of 7 hours and a bit

Reception started at 5 and we left at 10. Our guests were all out of there by 11. We wanted an early night!

Reception starts at 5:15; Last call at midnight and transportation will be waiting at 12:30am. So a good 7 hours.

Now we just need to figure out when to make our grand exit. We don't want to leave too early, as we wanna have a good time too, but we'll be way too tired to stay 'til the end.

Our timing was 6:00pm - 1:00am.

I'm thinking we will do 5 or 5:30 to midnight! We have to be out of our venue by midnight unfortunately. I would've liked to party longer.

4pm to 1am...going to be a long day!!

Our doors open at 545pm. and will go till 1am or last call. or when booze runs out. hahaha our venue is bring your own booze.

The late night station comes out at 1030 or 11! So prob wrap up midnight 1am!

Ceremony at 4.30, done by 5, straight into the reception, dinner at 6.30... shutting it all down by midnight... we have international flights the next day... our cruise/honeymoon is more important to us than extra hours of drinking lol.

Our reception started with dinner at 6:30 and the last of the guests (ourselves included) went to bed at 3AM.

We will start at 6 and end by 10:30 pm! It's going to be a long day since we're starting at 10:30 am for the ceremony!

My reception should run from 6pm til 12 12:30am. So around 6 or 61/2 hours.

My reception will be starting at 6pm and ending at 1am. Open bar for 5 hours starting at 7.

Ceremony from 5:15-5:30.

Jam session/cocktails (people are bringing their acoustic guitars) from 5:30-6:15

Dinner from 6:15-7:15

Cocktails and socializing from end of dinner to 8:30-8:45. So, all in all, about 3.5 hours for the whole shebang!

7:00-12:00 and last call is at 11:30 am 😁

Cocktail hour is 4/5 and the reception is 5/8. We arent big partiers, so it works for us
