When are you getting your marriage license? Have you checked the rules in your province to make sure you're not getting it too early, or too late?

    We got ours exactly 3 months before the wedding, which are the rules in Ontario.

    We were from out of province so I didn't want to manage that the week-of so we got it as soon as we could while we were still in Ontario.

    In Alberta it's valid for 90 days. We plan on going pretty close to the 90 day mark--probably about 80 days, depending on when we can go together!

    We are going on April 9th to get our license, which is 2 months before the wedding. Ours is only valid for 90 days.

    90 days is the rule. I'm aiming to have it just under 90 days in advance. I don't really know what I need to do to get it either.

    I’m pretty sure in Ontario it’s 90 days before the wedding, so I’m getting mine around then ☺️

    Three months before is the earliest I can get it in BC. I’ll probably go get it as soon as I can just so I know it’s done and ready. It’s kind of an important part of the wedding.
