How early can I buy pop/mix for bar at wedding?

We are going to Costco soon to pick everything up and our Wedding is in July. We have pepsi from Decemeber and still finding no problem with the fizz. Have a great day

Pop can last a good time frame and not loose it fizz. However, due to its expiry date, I would wait a month prior to the day so it can be returned if you haven't opened it. Call the nearest supermarket/convenience store to inquire if you can get them to place an order for you.

It shouldn't lose anything as long as it stays sealed.. It takes pop a looooooong time to lose its taste. Much longer than a few months. You should be fine.. wait for a sale and stock up !

As long as you have somewhere to store it I say buy it as soon as it's on sale! Only thing I would worry about is return policy though. Make sure you can return the unopened bottles that far down the road!

I think you probably have some time still, pop goes on sale all the time. However, I understand the desire to get things done and if you store like how you are going to, then get that mix!!

Pop can last awhile unopened. Just double check the best before date to make sure it hasn’t been sitting on the shelf too long! We were able to find 2-litre bottles on sale for $1 so we stocked up and had them for a couple months (and we stored them in a corner of the apartment and they still had fizz!)

You could buy now, just store in a cool, dry place like you're planning. As long as the 2 litres remained unopened, they'll be fine for a few months.

I know my friends bought a bunch of pop for theirs a few months in advance and stored same way as you will.

I did a quick google search and it looks like pop can last 6-9 months after the date printed on the container, if stored properly and remain unopened.
