How do I blend a bunch of stuff while keeping it tasteful

So the color is black. It is giving us almost a gothic romance feel with all the black everywhere. Its very much our taste. We are doing build your own tacos (who doesnt enjoy tacos?!) and cupcakes instead of a cake. There will be no rings exchanged as we will be getting tattoos instead so we are doing a tree planting ceremony. No dancing or booze or really anything super traditional as we find traditional weddings to be boring. We really want to blend a bunch of things we both really love but we want it to still be tasteful enough to pass for a wedding because its so non traditional already. I would love to find a way to bring more of our love of comic books and video games without it taking over and being more cute and funny. We are trying to do things as cheap as possible so as much as I would love to hire someone to dress as batman or have a photo booth with comic book or video game themed props we just cant afford it. My FH is on the spectrum and things like comics and video games hold a very special place in his heart and I have always been a gamer (more then him sometimes) so if anyone has any ideas please share!
