We met in our first year at university in 2011

I met my Fiance through my cousins. My FH was a new friend to my cousins, and an old friend to a mutual friend, when my cousins had a party at their house they had asked me to come where I saw now my future standing in the kitchen !!!
We haven't spent a day apart since the day I met him.

I met my fiancé in college we were both enrolled in the Private Investigation program. It was actually him who noticed me first! I was speaking with a fellow classmate and they told a joke and my laugh is rather loud so it caught his attention. And that’s all it took for him, that same day he spoke with his cousin and asked him for advice on how to approach me. He started sitting at my table everyday. We were friends for around 6 months before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend from then I knew he was a different and thoughtful man. We have been inseparable ever since!

We met in english class when we were 14. We "dated" for exactly 2 days, he dumped me 🤣 then he changed school but we remained friends & dated on & off for a while. As of now we've been together for almost 12 years, living together for 5 years & we have a fur baby named Q*Bert & getting married next year 😊

We first 'met' on hinge, but our first in-person meeting was by chance at my friend's bday party downtown. He was at the same bar we were at but we didn't know that until after he and his friends left. They were at a different bar a block away and when he found out we were still there, he ran in the rain to come meet me 😍

To start off ... for all "The Office" fans out there - everyone calls us Jim and Pam.

My fiance/love of my life and I met at work about 7 years ago.. he worked in our US Connecticut office and I work here in Mississauga. We only met through a work function and he was with someone else and so was I. Fast forward 3 years and we both had ended our relationships for different reasons and at different times but we both ended up working in same department (Business Optimization) and there was an INSTANT connection - it was just meant to be!! We would travel together, work on projects together, go for dinners etc. The connection was insane and we both has so much fun.

Now, he lives in Canada as a PR (becoming a Canadian Citizen), and we both work for the same company but different departments. We have a house, a dog and we are getting married this December!! We went from not really knowing each other, to co-workers, to dating long distance to immigrating to Canada (lol), and now marriage! It's been an insane few years.

I met him at work. Hes an electrician and was working in front of my locker at work. My commute was horrid and i was very grumpy and almost running late, so i ripped him a new one for being in my way. Ive never seen a man come down a ladder so fast! He later told me he thought i might kick the ladder out from under him! This happened three days in a row! After that we got to talking a bit. Said hi in the halls of the hotel here and there for 2 months. I then found out i was switching jobs and i just happened to run into him in the staff cafeteria and gave him my number. A couple days later we went on our first date!

My sister invited me to go swimming with a nursing classmate of hers. We swam in the river, got McDonald’s fries and spent the rest of the night watching movies. Spent that summer hanging out, and the next three years having great adventures travelling across the country. In September, he proposed to me on the boat at Niagara Falls! We are both nurses and enjoy going to work together (different floors). I couldn’t be happier!

My fiancé and I met at a bar. I was supposed to be on a flight heading to the East coast to spend a week with an old fling, when my flight got cancelled due to weather. I couldn’t get out until the next day, so I decided to go to an old friends birthday pub crawl. My now fiancé was there for the same birthday so we ended up getting to know each other over a few drinks. At the end of the night, I had asked him if he needed a ride home, he asked if I needed a bed. I was supposed to be his first one night stand.... the next day I got on a plane to the East coast.. I didn’t expect to hear from him again, however when I landed I had a message from him asking how the flight was. We texted back and fourth the entire time I was there and when I landed back home, I ended up back at his place. It started off as a fling, then turned long distance, and here we are 5 years later and I couldn’t be happier.

My fiance and I meet 3 years ago on his birthday. His friend invited me our to hangout (and never told me that it was his friends birthday). From there we continued to hangout as a group. One night he volunteered to drive me home and that's when he smoothly asked for my number. And since then we've been talking ever since.

We met about 11 years ago when his dad ended up dating my mom 😂 we would see each other and chat randomly, here and there...but I was married when we met and he was perpetually single.... flash forward 9 years, we were attending the same wedding and I got super dumped a few days before. His date went home early, and we made some poor choices...lol... over the next 6 months we just couldn’t decide what we were doing....he ended up seeing someone else... we stopped talking... then boom- shows up at my door telling me how stupid he is... and that we gotta get our s*** together... 15 months after that moment, we were engaged.

We met on Valentine's Day 6 years ago in a bar. One of our mutual friends was trying to set up one of my good friends and his good friend (they're respectively one of my bridesmaids and his best man in our wedding party actually!) So she invited us all out to a group hang out at the bar given we were all single on Valentine's Day. My fiance does not remember meeting me at all lol, but I remember thinking he was really cute, and asking our mutual friend to arrange another hang out sometime soon. It didn't end up working out between our two friends (they went on a couple of dates then fizzled out) but our mutual friend organized another group hang out a couple of months later so we could meet up again (she loves setting people up!). While I was in the bathroom, she then pressured my fiance to ask me out which he finally did the next day over Facebook messenger lol.

I was about to deleting this App and wanted to get through all the messages again one more time. Until I saw our chat and realized we didn’t have much chat( read: I didn’t reply his last chat) . So,I decided to give one last chance to chat with him. It turned out well, and when we met for the first time,he got me right away. And, he proposed to me on my birthday in Santorini! I am still super glad I did not rush to delete my bumble at that time! Lol

My fiancé and I bet at my 20th birthday party at my house, we had a mutual friend that was there and ha told him to come by. He showed up after leaving his friends birthday party with a friend of his. This other friend of his ended up marrying my best friend 6 years ago and now we are getting married in May.

My fiancé and I met each other when I was 16 and he was 15. We had a tough upbringing and actually met each other while living in group homes when we were in the system.
We played on the group home baseball team together and I even transferred to the high school that he went to.
We did find love when we were both in a dark place, but I believe we found our strength with each other and came out stronger than ever by supporting one another. Not many kids that were in the system become "success stories." My fiancé and I avoided going down that path and wanted more with our lives.We now have 2 children together, a 7 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. I have attended college and obtained a diploma and he works hard as a tow truck driver and might be on next years season for the tv show Heavy Rescue 401! 🤩😉We have been together for 10 and a half years now and finally getting married! 🥰💗

We met on Tinder, I was very skeptics that I would actually meet anyone decent on there as the app is typically perceived as a hookup app. I was just looking for casual dating and chatting nothing too serious and then I met my fiancé. He was something special from the very first message he sent me, we hit it off right away and pretty much jumped right into dating and a relationship. I do not regret how we met although I do giggle when I tell people we met on tinder hehe.

We met at a cancer gala fundraiser, but he wasnt there for the gala, he was in another room for a stag and he happend to venture into our party fundraiser and we had an drink and he rest was history. We actually will be getting married on the exact day we met 10 years ago. June 20 2020. How things just happen and fell into place.
