How are guys planning to celebrate your wedding in light of Covid-19?

Gloria, on October 30, 2020 at 04:51 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 2

Hey folks,
Our wedding date was on 10th May 2020. When COVID first peaked back in April, we decided to postpone our wedding ceremony to 11th November 2020. Luckily our vendors(Venue) allowed us to transfer all deposits and payments to the new date chosen.
We've some new plans for our big day. For the guests that cannot be there physically, we will be live streaming on Youtube.
And our other plan is to inform our new date to our relatives and friends by sending a postcard. Even though it's a traditional one, we found it interesting. My fiance has hired a service that offers postcard printing , and they promised to deliver the cards on time.
Is there anyone here getting married in the coming days?

Its wonderful to hear your day went through as planned and the Thank you cards went out to everyone.

I'd imagine couples going through the same or just holding back on the bigger celebration until things settle down in a year or two hopefully. Receptions, Renewals or second weddings will be as special as you plan to do when decided.

How many guests are you allowed to have? I assume no reception is allowed because you're in a red zone. Do you have alternate arrangements due to the restrictions?

We were supposed to be in December but we pushed for March a few months back. With our region limiting gatherings and banning indoor dining, we're thinking we'll have to push again.
