Nope, we are not using a travel agent. We feel we don't need one.

I was looking online and was very overwhelmed, so I went to a travel agent to help direct me better, which was so helpful. We ended up booking through the agent even though it was the same price because the agent can also get us deals on flights and hotels prior to/after the cruise.

I was looking online yesterday for honeymoon all inclusive deals and I am out of my comfort zone. We are going to meet with a travel agent and get suggestions and then make a decision.

No. We were going to, to do the Flight Centre honeymoon registry, but I realized I didn't save any money, and I know how to do it all on my own, there's no benefit to using one. I like to be in control more too, doing the browsing and such on my own.

We’re undecided about this one. It all depends on where we decide to take our honeymoon.

We didn't, but I used to be a travel agent, so I knew what I was doing. Smiley smile

No. We did use a booking site, though. It gave us a discount on our hotel.

Probably not. They’re just too expensive to go through.

I booked through an online travel agency. It was too complicated to book it on my own, so went with a company who helped me with some package deals.

Also wanted to point out, I did all the research online for our destination and went to her with the deal I found and she was able to give us all kinds of extra tours and upgrades for the same price as what I found. Something to think about if you are unsure of using one.

I used to be a travel agent and know how useful they are. I now give all my business to my friend from college who is still in the industry.

We won't be using a travel agent! No need, when everything can be done online - so easy to book everything ourselves!

We are thinking about it. We are both super busy all the time so we are thinking this may help us, but I've always been good at planning trips so we may just skip it.

Not at the moment. Depending on the location and what type of accommodation we go with, we might get one.

Yep! It actually saved us $1000 by booking with one AND got us $400 in credits to use towards activities or the spa!

Nope. We will do most of our planning once we get there. We really dont want to limit ourselves by pre booking the trip.

I'm lucky and my FH LOVES planning our holidays (and always does a really good job with it). So no travel agents for us.

I don't think so. Our honeymoon will be pretty local to us (about 4-5 hours away).
