Honeymoon - Splurge or Save?

Little bit of both. Saving and splurging. We are planning on riding across Canada on our bike (Motorcycle). The bike is cheap on gas, and camping most nights if we can, except for big nights out having fun and wanting a room. Biggest cost, food. In a sense saving, cause we are not planning an expensive extravagant trip or cruise. If plans fall through, renting a cottage for a week and a bit. Although any trip or traveling can be $$$, regardless of how you are doing it.

Saved- we can't afford one but hope to someday go on one

Splurge!

We've had to put our honeymoon planning on hold due to upcoming life changes. So we're not sure where or when we're going, but we'll definitely go all out for about 2 weeks!

A splurge! We'll likely be away for 3 weeks and we know it will be Asia, 2-3 countries likely!

We'll probably save. We're hoping to go to Europe for more of a backpacking trip rather than a pricey all-inclusive resort somewhere.

We are splurging a little but also saving because originally we planned on going to New Zealand, which would be pretty expensive. But we just found a tour that goes through Prague, Amsterdam and England and 14 other places in Europe for about $1200 or $1300 each. Which is a lot less.

We are splurging on this. Our parents are paying for a good chunk of the wedding so we have some extra money for the honeymoon!

Splurging. We are going to go away for 2 weeks to Sandals' resorts, we're thinking in St. Lucia. We don't know when we will get the chance to do this again so we wanted to splurge and enjoy it now.

Save for now!

We will probably drive out to Niagara falls for a few days then in a year or so plan a bigger honeymoon!!

We still haven't had a proper honeymoon locally or out of the country. Time will come to be the right one for our anniversary.

We're splurging in the sense that we chose a cruise over an all inclusive. We're saving though in the sense that we're not buying the upgraded food package or the unlimited alcohol package, we really don't drink that much and are in awe of the amount of all you can eat food you can get for free . We're also only going monday-friday instead of a whole week.

SPLURGE big time! Three weeks in Europe. A couple nights at a very luxurious hotel in Switzerland, a Mediterranean Cruise, and a roadtrip in Germany. This is a once in a lifetime style of trip so we want to make it extravagant!

Saving by having a mini-moon for now, but splurging by having a mini-moon now and then a honey moon later
