I've been trying to think of ways to save some money, while still hosting an elegant celebration, and I can't quite justify spending large amounts of money on flowers that are going to wilt after a few days. So my idea was to create a bouquet of wild ferns. They grow in abundance in my area, but I'm wondering if they would wilt too quickly? I'm also considering using them as table center pieces possibly.
Has anyone created their own bouquets with wild flowers or greenery, and what were your findings? Did they last the whole night, did you find them too flimsy, etc. Thanks for any advice!
