High heels or flat wedding shoes?

I might do both as I will need flats for the photos.

I haven't tried to fix the veil yet, but I will probably try soon using a nail polish top coat, which is apparently better for filling in spaces.

Those look like a nice height! Just about 3 inches or higher. Possibly with a platform though, to add more height but make them more comfortable to wear, so that would give me 4". I do want them to be comfortable enough to dance in though, for the traditional dances.

I really love these (with a shorter heel though)! I don't know if I can make the splurge for them though. I'm going to wait unti I go on Christmas vacation (which I probably will) to see if I can find anything I like first - it is, after all, so much nicer to be able to try shoes on instead of hoping they'll fit!

I understand what you're saying about shoes, would you go for something like this?

I would love to see pictures of the shoes you like, I'm sure they will be great ideas for comfy feet and to dance all night!

I'm doing heels for the ceremony and all of our formal pictures after dinner I will change into a pair of flats

I like heels because I'm a bit short - on the other hand, I don't want to have a hard time walking. So I like to have straps on my heels which makes a huge difference. And I'll probably look for something with a slightly thicker heel, instead of stilettos. We'll see how it goes! Also, as much as I love sparkle, I want to avoid anything with chunky glitter, as it can sometimes snag on the fabric of the dress as you walk, depending on the fabric! I know because i tried wearing my glitter heels when I went to try on wedding dresses once. It was a little difficult.
