Help with Hashtag!

Stephanie, on April 3, 2018 at 14:55 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 13

I've been seeing a few people do this so I thought I'd reach out for some ideas too as we have been at a bit of a loss...

I'd love to have a fun hashtag for the wedding! Something cute! Something silly! Or something both I'm quite open!

My name is Stephanie

My fiance is Sheldon D'Sousa (we will be keeping his last name for the both of us)

Wedding is May 2019!

The most I have thought of is #SnS2019 but I don't like the 'n' in there... doesn't look too nice. I just wish I could have an '&'

Thanks!

    Thank you!

I played with the 'and' instead of 'n' but my worry was if someone did it all lower case and then it would just look like 'sands' hahaha!

For your original #SnS2019, maybe use the whole word: #SandS2019

The generator Breanne suggested has some ideas too, but they are more generic, as they don't adjust for different names. Like #DSousaWedding #MeetTheDSousas #StephanieAndSheldonGetHitched ... which can still be cute, but I really like to try and think of play on words.

You could shorten that last one... #SandSGetHitched

I'm not the greatest at making hastags but check out

I can't try it for you because it needs your last name. Some of them are cheesy but every once in awhile it pops out a gem

It's pronounced the same as a "Desouza" last name (duh-sue-za)

There is no nickname or short version sadly... but DSousa is fine too! He has to use that in a lot of email addresses already haha!

How is his last name pronounced? And is there a nickname version of it any of his friends/family use? (Like Sous, etc) Because the ' can't be in it either
