Help!! Finding groomsmen suits in Canada

Last year I bought the tuxedo for my brother's wedding and I gift him that tuxedo, which was a great experience with Saks Off 5th but at that time their products are very expensive. So now I recently ordered again but this time I get a 73% Off because I use Saks Off 5th Coupon Codes and get a great discount with free delivery.

With everything being closed and us getting married in July, we had our groomsmen order their suits from Tip Top Tailors www.tiptop.ca and then we ordered dress shirts and belts from RW Co

My husband bought his from RW&co. He tried on one in store in the "wrong" color and the salesperson helped order the proper color and had it shipped to our door. It was still returnable if he didn't like it in person.


A lot of stores only carry the basics in store, but their websites have variety. So anywhere that will let them try on the style that you/they want that exists in those colors is the place to go!

Hi Amanda, fellow bride from Montreal here I’m not sure if it’s nearby where you live but it might be worth checking out Eldorado Mode in Marché Central. We got tan suits for my fiancé’s groomsmen late last year. We were told that colour was selling out fast so we reserved ours immediately. Their manager Anouar is very knowledgeable. If they don’t have what you are looking for, they might be able to check their partner boutiques. I hope it helps!

I normally don't advocate for renting a suit but I would do it if you insist on the guys wearing that particular colour, especially if they have no use for a tan/beige suit outside of your wedding. The reason why you don't see them very often is because the colour lacks formality (remember how many people flipped when Obama wore a tan suit?) and versatility, which means there is very little opportunity to make use of such a garment.

You can rent them at Moores, Collins Formalwear, or Tuxedo.ca, all of whom with locations/dealers that serve the Quebec region. Keep in mind, as with any rental, these may not look the greatest since there's little room to alter the suit to fit the wearer since they're made to be worn by guys of all shapes and sizes. And the material will likely be polyester for easy handling and cleaning, but that means the guys will heat up in these suits.

If for whatever reason they want to buy, JCrew Factory currently has a cotton stretch khaki suit that comes with pants. They also have a linen suit with pants. If you and the guys prefer to shop more locally, they can go to department stores like The Bay and Saks off Fifth but in my opinion, they are waaaaaaaaaay overpriced at the moment for what it is (almost $600 for a Tommy Hilfiger jacket and pants - WHAATT?!?!?!?!?!?!?) These materials and colours are in-season for spring/summer, which means they will be marked up at "regular price." End of season sale happens in August and by then, a lot of common/typical sizes are gone so it's a gamble and cutting it close to your date.

If you're flexible with their outfit, maybe go for just a sport coat instead of a full suit? There's more use for such a jacket and it looks very stylish. Spier and Mackay have a quality linen-wool sports coat that looks sharp. Tristan currently has a few blazers and jackets that fit your colour palette. Suit Supply can make jackets and full suits made to measure for you as can IndoChino. For a pricier but comfy fit and fancier material, Harry Rosen has an unlined cotton sports jacket. For budget options, RW&Co and H&M have their own beige blazer (the quality is far inferior to the other options though but if I had to choose one, it would be the one from RW&Co).

Personally, I'd advise against getting a pink suit. Even if you happen to find one, it's likely a terribly constructed suit made purely out of polyester. They'll heat up so much in those, you might as well stick a plastic bin around them.

Not sure what area you’re from but this is the colour scheme my fiancé is doing for his groomsmen and his own suit. We found a really nice suit at a local tuxedo store, the designer is Ike Behar. I got this booklet from a local suit/tux rental place. Not sure if you can buy from this brand or just rent but they have a tan colour.
