The venue I might be renting from doesn't have a off season. They charge the same year round so as Rachel said it's hard to know and depends on where you are looking at.

The off season like Amanda mentioned is probably your best bet. Also if you get married on a Friday or Sunday or a weekday it will always be cheaper then a Saturday.

Be careful with November. We are getting married in November and we haven't seen alot of these "price breaks" that we had heard of...i think it depends not only on the time of year but location as well. Example A hotel in Niagara on the Lake in november was offering discounts since that is a slow time of year for them tourist wise but our venue did not offer any discounts becasue they are usually starting to fill up with holiday parties and events and therefore don't offer discounts in november....i say reserach venues and if you come across any you like email them for info and if they say nothign then you can always ask if there is an off peak season discount..??? worht a shot!

You could also save some money by getting married during the week instead of on the weekend.

November - March. These months are in the "off season". If you chose a date around a holiday (Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day) prices might still be back on the expensive side. But avoid those, and your prices should be lower.
