Has anyone had their diamonds removed from their engagement ring shank?

I'm wanting to have the diamonds taken off the band on my engagement ring. Has anyone ever done this? Can they take them off and fill them in, or do you have to get a whole new ring? How much did it cost if youve done it? Also, interested in having milgrain added to the edging of the halo if anyone has done that, I'd appreciate your insight as well! Thanks!

    Might be cheaper just to go with a custom designer to design the ring and then add back the diamonds.

    Hi Riss, I wanted to add diamonds on an old ring at a time for my wedding, but the vendor told me that at that point it's better to buy a new ring than made changes that will cost approximately the same amount of money of a new ring.

    I hope that helped but maybe it could be different in your case. It is better to ask a vendor than you can make up your mind and see if it's possible.
