Has anyone brought their dog to their wedding?

I’m curious to hear from anyone that included their furry friend in their wedding day?


I’m so interested in the logistics of it all. I think photos with the pup is so sweet but would have no idea what to do with him before / during / and after the ceremony! I Believe there is a service you can hire, has anyone done this?
What was your experience? Would you do it again? What would you do differently if anything? Would you recommend it?

    We plan on our dog walking down the aisle with our junior bridesmaid, she will be handed off to one of our cousins for the ceremony and then we will be taking some photos with her. I then have arranged for her to be driven to our place which is 20 minutes away from our ceremony space.

    She is the "dog of honor" and I will be getting a little flower collar made up for her!

    Aww that’s so sweet. Thank you for sharing! I have to double check but I’m pretty sure our venue is pet friendly so if we don’t bring our boy, Charlie, he’ll have to be boarded for the day.

    We have had to take our dogs to the breeder and have her watch them for a charge as we headed over to the venue being pet free zone.

    We did do something for the one before Peanut as he passed away and for being present wise, paws were put on the cake climbing up to the final tier. Personally, we would have loved to have our chihuahuas with us at the venue and part of the celebrations.
