Hairstyle for bride

I wanted to keep my hair down or do a half up but because of the potential heat during our wedding time my hair stylist made it so I can throw my hair up into a bun very easily if I want to

I have thick hair. that when its humid can feel like its getting thicker. but i really want my hair down too. so i am either going to go with a half up/half down with curls for ceremony and photos. then have my bridesmaids help me pin it up for the reception. or will go all up if i find a style i love. (will see what hair stylist recommends)

I would say that if you have a Hair stylist for the day of you could ask him/her if they have dealt with hair like yours in the humidity and what they recommend, but it also depends on what dress you have. I am going by these guidelines - but feel no obligation to do so! It isn't a rule, just suggestions as to what will look best.

I am growing my hair to donate it ( not until after the wedding) and currently it touches my butt. Initially I wanted to keep it down. But the dress I bought has an illusion back with beautiful detailing and I don’t want to hide that. So up goes the hair! for me I guess this may be a good thing because I tend to play with my hair when I’m nervous.

Are you getting a makeup and hair Stylist? I really wanted to keep my hair down too (self conscious reasons) but the girl I hired did a bridal trial for me and turned my hair into something I could never even imagine!! She put it up in a way that blew my mind like my hair has never looked so good hahah! My hair is straight but also VERY thin! I strongly suggest getting to a stylist or salon and let them try something and see if you like it!
