Yes! Thanks so much! I understand it now. I just recently started looking at Hair and MUAs, I initially thought that I should get a trial first before booking (which I was thinking to do closer to our day) but apparently the most trusted ones book up fast (similar to what you've done) so I need to really do my research now! Ah I see! I read the question wrong lol!

I booked my hair and MUA both before October 2018, which is a year before my wedding. I booked for the wedding day only, but both have trials included with bridal packages but were to be booked separately, closer to the day. I booked my hair trial in June and my makeup in May - both taking place in August.

I booked the MUA solely on great recommendations without a trial first. My hair stylist is a friend of mine, who's worked on my hair before so I knew she was good. She's still doing a hair trial so we can perfect the updo style.

I'm going for my trials in August so 2 months before the wedding. Ideally, I'd do them closer to the date )6 weeks to a month) but I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, my wedding is in London, Ontario and end of August is the last time in London before the wedding.

I booked my makeup and hair about year in advance as the ones wanted book up fast. I am going about a month prior to my wedding for the trials as well. This way my hair length is close and I know what to expect

I booked mine earlier this year for our October wedding. She only does so many weddings so I wanted to get in!
My hair and makeup trial is this weekend just because I literally have no other weekend available up until our wedding. Plus she was booking into September and that is a busy month for us!

I booked my MUA about 11 months ahead. My makeup trial is one month before my wedding.

My wedding is next July and my MUA and hairstylists are booked.

I ended up paying them for my engagement photo make up and hair so I got an idea of their work. My trail won’t be until next May.

I booked a makeup trial in mid-June for the end of August since it coincides with our engagement photos but I'm fairly confident I'll end up doing another one closer to the date. Hair will probably be next spring or summer but I'm planning on checking with my stylist when she cuts and styles my hair for the photos.
