So with having of course a capacity limit I had to set a limit for guests and well couldn't invite some and now with replies coming in and having a few "No" do think its reasonable to send Invitations to ones you couldn't to replace the no rsvps or is that not a smart idea?

    I have an A and B list.

Priority goes to people who got our save the dates, and who came to the weding shower. B list invitations are people we are not directly related to who did not get the save the dates, who did not come to the shower and who are not family.

Go for it! True friends won't care, they'll be happy they were able to come. If anyone does ask just be honest about family not being able to come and capacity limits.

The plan B is the back up guest list of those that declined from list A. It is smart to do so though you want to make sure your count is to the maximum capacity and not over.

I did that, we have big families so we invited them first since some had to travel. As the declines came in then we were able to invite more friends

I find it pretty common for people to do this! My friend was recently invited to a wedding and was obviously on the B list and she couldn't care less. I wouldn't either!

Ok! I wasn't sure if it was a bad thing or not it's not like I don't want people there it's just due to capacity issues.

I was thinking of doing that, I don't see why it wouldn't be, it's not that they weren't good enough to be invited it's just that the limit doesn't allow us to invite anyone else, so since people can't make it, I don't see it being an issue inviting people who would love to be there. But that is my personal opinion. My friend had about 10 people that said no last minute, I was lucky I had asked her if I can bring my FH as a plus one since I wasn't able to bring one, with the cancelation she was glad he came.

If you want to invite those other guests you couldn't before go for it!
My fiance and I did the exact same thing as soon as we found out a few people weren't going to make it we decided to send out a few more invites.
