Guest List - Breaking Up Couples

Allison, on March 28, 2018 at 10:11 Posted in Tech support 0 4

When I export the guest list to excel, the plus one's I have had to enter (The naming format I have used is "Lastname Guest") do not stay together with their "host" guest. This is infuriating, as I need to include the guests for numbers purposes, but when I'm going to do my address labels I can't find the guests. How do I fix this so my couples/families stay together?

I believe I did it the other way around "Guest LastName", and it helped. Overall, it's just a little more finicky and time consuming to organize your "plus ones"... I made sure I categorized the guests (bride family, bride friends, groom family, groom friends, mutual friends, etc)... it helped going through smaller lists of people than the entire guest list at once.

What if you flip around and do "Guest LASTNAME"

Not ideal but might keep them together?

That does sound frustrating, I'm sorry to hear that is happening. This is concerning guests like plus ones who are chainlinked to a primary guest? Have you reached out to Support@weddingwire.ca to help you troubleshoot this?

I found that to be a struggle with the guest list feature on WW too! To be honest, that’s the reason I stopped using it since I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. I think it might be a glitch in the software.

    Good luck tho.
