Guest List Assignment

Kyrie, on January 13, 2019 at 12:42 Posted in Tech support 0 6

Hello! I'm just wondering if there's an easier way to designate your guests as 'adult/child/baby' and 'male/female' aside from going through each guest individually. Is there a way I can select all, for example, and assign them all 'adult'? Or select a few and designate them all 'female'?

Thanks!

HI Kyrie! Unfortunately there's not an easy way to do this – you'd need to go through each guest individually, as you mentioned. There's not a column in the spreadsheet template for these fields, so there's not a way to import them with your other guest information. Sorry about that! I'll pass this feedback along to our Development team, though. It would be nice for all the available fields to be in the spreadsheet template for import!

I think you can only see it when you're using the desktop version. Top left corner when you're in the guest list section.

It's just for your tracking, though there is an option to send invitations under the 'Message Guests' button.

I have a question, when I put my guests in does it send it to the guest for them to accept? Or is it just a tracking for me?

Unfortunately, not really. You would have to export your guest list, fill out all the columns in the excel spreadsheet, empty your guest list from Wedding Wire, and re-import them with the new information (this would also be a super handy time to fill out addresses and contact info if you're doing that).

Wedding Wire labels their columns in a specific way, so if you edit, only ADD to the columns, don't change, add or remove and columns/headings.
