Guest List - Add and Pending

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but when I add people to the Guest List it already sets them as 'pending', and I'm worried that this means they've been emailed about being added onto the list. Does that happen, or does it only occur when you select Request RSVP?

    Hi Laila! We do not contact any of your guests when they are added to your guest list, or events within your guest list - you will need to actively contact them!

    Pending is the default status for all guests, it just means they have not yet RSVPed!!
