They all say pending until you manually change it once you know if they are coming or not.

I've heard a couple of people haveing difficulties with the guests using the site to RSVP when it comes to RSVPing for just them if they are connected to others - so that means it's hard for plus ones As well as it means that if they are searching up their names they could also search up other names to see if they have been invited so that's not great either :/

We stayed away from using it as the RSVP place and just requested that the guests call/text/email me with their RSVP as it was then age friendly to those who aren't on the computer and would prefer to call.

No worries - that's the automatic go to when you enter them in. I didn't send any invites through weddingwire and it's just the default until you change it or get RSVP's through the site.
As for sending them out - are you using the evite on Weddingwire or are you sending out your own through Canada Post/ different evite site?
