Do i include vendors on my quest list?

Do they need an invitation? I'm assuming they need a meal

Vendors are business provided to you and guest list is whom your inviting you know. They don't need an invitation since they have booked to come to the venue.

As for meals, yes every vendor has that flaw in their contract to be provided for a meal. I personally requested the main meal only to avoid more than needed to pay for than the guests.

That's up to you! My fiancé and I will likely include our vendors when sending our invitations, but you could always call them or send them an email for them to confirm their meal selection since they're already aware of your wedding date and venue.

I won't be sending our vendors a wedding invitation but 9/10 times they do need a meal. I would just reach out of them via email or phone call to ask them what meal they would like unless it's buffet.

Also, I will be putting all the vendors at the same table (unless I know the vendors know other people there - a few are friends of ours).

They don't need an invitation. but you include them in your meal head counts if they are there during the dinner hour (most venues. depending on the meal actually offer vendor meals...so usually discounted for you)

I will definitely include them in the count, but I’ll be telling the venue (as they are catering) about the amount of vendors as it won’t be the same rate they told me. So make sure to tell them. Especially if you’re doing some sort of wedding package. Some of my vendors have the meal in the contract, they want to be fed too. I will be offering it to those who don’t ask for it as well and see if they want it.

I wont be sending them an invitation, they have the information for the wedding, unless one of your vendors is a friend as well and you want them to have one. Or else I don’t think it would be necessary.

    I 100% agree with this!

I would also add in that when you're telling your venue of your final head count, be sure they know how many are vendors. There's usually a discounted rate for their meal.

Congratulations on your engagement! Welcome to the Wedding Wire community!

We included the vendors that require a meal on our guest list so we're accurate with our count for the caterer.

Most vendors state in their contract whether or not they require a meal, and a while ago I read a really good article article about the etiquette of feeding your vendors (ie don't just stuff them in a utility closet).

Ours will be seated and be listed on the seating chart, but they won't be sent an invitation.

We are also including our DJ and photographers as they will be there during the dinner portion.
I will be doing the same as Julie. Adding them to the seating plan but not sending an invite

We are having our DJ, Photographer and Photographer Assistant for dinner but we did not send them an Invitation. They'll have their names on seating chart, place cards & be seated together.
