Hello Brides! Have you heard of a groom's cake? From my understanding, it is a fun cake for the groom at the wedding or rehearsal dinner (since the wedding cake is usually the bride's vision ). They're usually less decorative/formal than a traditional wedding cake and can be anything from fishing themed to his favourite video game. Have you considered getting one for your groom? If you could surprise him with one, what would you want it to look like? And Grooms, if you could have a groom's cake, what would you want it to be?
I had thought about doing a groom's cake for my husband to have at his bachelor party but it just wasn't feasible. He loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so I thought about doing a TMNT themed cake for him. I think I might still do it for his next birthday instead! (His fave character is Donatello so I got him one as a Build A Bear for his birthday a few years ago. You're never too old for toys!)
