Groom wants a blusher...!

Peggy, on April 19, 2018 at 16:48 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 6

Well, I had planned to wear just a single layer fingertip or waltz length veil but in conversation with my fiancé this week, I have learned he would really like me to wear a blusher (He thought that -was- the veil!).

I had figured out how I wanted to wear my hair (low side knot, not messy) to take advantage of my natural curls, maybe with some decorative hair pieces going up and around the side. I'm not sure if that will now work with a veil and blusher.

Help!

Thanks ladies - it's just not something I had thought about. I guess I just need to make sure it's long enough to hang nicely in front and not stick out.

I think a blusher will work in your hair-do!

It will mainly just be for the ceremony and not so much on during the reception, so as long as it sticks in long enough to walk down the isle you're good! hahah!

Do you want to wear a veil with a blusher? If so I'm sure you can find a veil in that style that'll work with that hair style.

I pulled a few pictures from WeddingWire's Pinterest

I don't see why your hairstyle wouldn't work with a blusher, since the only difference is the one layer in front.

If I were you, I'd try to put your hair up as best you can on your own, and play around with some of the fabric if you'll be making it your own. That can definitely help make your decision a bit easier.

I'm in the process of growing my hair out - I won't be even close to testing styles until January or February of 2019 when my hair is long enough! And because I am making my own veil, and my mother is beading it by hand, I need to figure out lengths well before that.

I've FB'd my hairstylist (she's my regular hair dresser who is doing a special trip to our hotel to do hair).

Your best bet is to go and see your hair stylist and they can suggest a style that would work best with your veil.
