Groom and Mother of the Groom dance

We are getting married on 23rd July and we are both in our 50's. My fiance and his Mom want to do a dance together, but we want something upbeat and fun. What suggestions do you have? Sweet child of mine - Guns and Roses?

We want it to be fun - he is walking down the aisle to ZZ Top Sharp Dressed Man!

    How mobile is his mom? I find music from the 70s have an upbeat but sentimental quality to it that is suitable for parental dances compared to the louder rock of the 80s.

    Hi Paulette,

    That sounds like such a fun idea, Can't go wrong with Guns and Roses, any songs from the 80's would be awesome it was a great era for music.

    White wedding by Billy idol would also be fun lol

    Honestly you both seem like a fun couple do a miss match of songs.
