Not necessary at all. We're most-likely going to be at our reception until the end, so there's zero oppourtunity for a grand exit anyway.

Not necessary. We're leaving at midnight (we're shutting down the wedding, lol)... but my mom has to take my dress from the reception, as we're leaving straight to the airport hotel for our honeymoon... So I'm hoping to sneak out in pajamas without too many people left around

I think the grand exit from the church is soooo anti-climatic. like..yaahh you got married lots of cheers, out the door. then you just stop. as you look for the people you need for photos. hahaha

I think they are kind of ridiculous now. yes, while a sparkler send off makes for a cute photo. why are you leaving your own party early? (unless you have an early flight). i'm partying till the end with my family and friends!

It makes sense if the couple had to leave early to go on their honeymoon but I rarely hear of anyone leaving the same NIGHT as their wedding.
