Vistaprint seems to be a popular site and to let you know that lines can be added too if needed. This is what i had created for us having the colours in mind.

I haven't decided which color I will pick. I am leaning toward maroon right now. The wedding colors kept changing every few months

I didn't make the design. I found them at Etsy. When the time comes, I would buy the design and print it, most probably at Vistaprint.

Thank you Leanne. I read from VistaPrint website, they will have foil coming up this month. I can't wait to see the samples they have. I still have time. My wedding will be next year August. So I don't need to print invitation until spring next year. Besides, I need help from my Fiance's family with the wording in French. I don't speak French at all

I went to vistaprint myself and ordered thrle invites of the site. They came out beautiful. I like sample 2 of the invites you made. The gold shows well and the blue gives that subtleness to it.

We used vistaprint for our invites and they turned out great, I didn't have foil lettering but I do believe there was an option for it. With vistaprint i recommend googling "vistaprint coupon" or "vistaprint discount" there are always discounts online to be added, and vistaprint themselves usually puts their products on sale..I ended up saving a lot money on ours!

I am eyeing the Premium matte too but I am considering linen as well. I still have half a year. Hopefully, when I am ready to print, the foil is available at VistaPrint.

Thank you Megis. I had a fast surfed at VistaPrint and seems like they can do gold letters. Can I have a sneak peek at your invitation?

I made my own invitations. I have a background in graphic design. So I made the design and then sent it out for printing with Vistaprint. They give you nice options for paper types.

Thank you for the link, Kelly. Yes, you are right. It's time consuming and requires special tooling. Well, I have to continue on searching and might have to drop the gold lettering idea eventually.

Thanks Brittany. Yes, I tried it on my HP Ink Jet and the gold turned out more like orange. I will check VistaPrint and Minted. Thank you for the advise.

Unfortunately you cant print foil on a regular printer. You can use a gold-tone font, but it won't come out shimmery like you're thinking. It will be flat.

There is a way to DIY them, but you need very specific items, and it is time consuming (which is why print companies charge so much extra for it).

Here's a good in depth tutorial. But you'll see its not an easy DIY, especially if you're new to it.

Pretty sure VistaPrint, and Minted, both do foil press with gold lettering! But for DIY, I think having that foil look isn't really possible on a regular printer...

I know I've done gold foil "look" lettering for signs for my cousin's baby shower... I created the effect on Photoshop and printed them on cardstock... but it's not that shimmery foil press look.
