Getting things booked!

We were able to get the church we wanted to marry in as pastor agreed to marry us but marriage councilling is required. we’re both fine with that and then we put deposit down on our reception venue and got the accommodations set up for us as well. I also got my flowers off swap site for cheaper as well! 7 bouquets- one for bride and gonna use one as throw and then 5 for bridesmaids. Putting deposit on photographer soon. Feels good though and been trying on dresses 4th apt this week no luck yet! How are your wedding plans coming ?

    First of all, those flowers are super pretty! What a deal!

    So far so good with our planning! Our wedding is Sept 29, so we have about 4 month left to go! We have our wedding venue booked (we are having both reception and ceremony in the same place), our photographer team is booked/deposit paid, dress is purchased and hanging in my closet, and we have purchased some of our decor (mainly our candles and candle holders).

    We are meeting with a decorator tomorrow afternoon to discuss our greenery that we want on our table, and we are meeting another decorator next week to discuss the rest of the decor items (chair covers/sashes, charger plates, linens, etc.)

    Our venue is an Italian restaurant, so we are going with the theme and doing a green/cream/eggplant purple/gold colour scheme. I think it is going to look wonderful!

    I just booked my photographer last week and paid her a deposit, got my dress ordered 2 weekends ago (feels like 2 years lol), and got my FH to finally tour our venue (we were in my hometown where the wedding is last week)

    Yes honestly we didn’t want to book anything till we new if would get the church. He started the courses instantly. Venues booked, bouquets done, I have my photographer chosen just need to put down deposit now. Been collecting things for decorations slowly Smiley smile

    For me getting the venue booked was the biggest stress relief!! We have church booked (gotta do the marriage courses too those start in fall), venue is booked, got all my bouquets and boutonnieres bought from etsy!! Seeing some meeting with photographers and decor now and doing some DIY on the side!!
    Piecing things together feels so good!!! Gets me so excited!!!

    Love it! Isn't nice when you get a whole bunch of stuff done?! It's like BAM I'm not so stressed anymore! Also those bouquets are beautiful!
