I need some fellow brides to calm my nerves about the wedding day timeline.

Hair/Makeup Starts: 12:30 pm

Done Hair/Makeup (according to the makeup artist): 2:30 pm *there is only me and my MOH

Ceremony: 3:30 pm, 25 minute drive without traffic

I am worried that once my hair and makeup is done, there won't be much time for photos or anything else at my parents' house before we have to leave. Basically the only important photo would be of me and my dog since she won't be at the ceremony/reception.

    Personally, I would leave a little bit more buffer time in case anything runs behind schedule. My make up artist told me to budget 3 hours for hair and make up and I see that you only have 2. Are you going to be fully getting ready at home before the ceremony or would you need to do some touch ups there? I would recommend giving yourself an additional half an hour so you can have some time to calm your nerves before the ceremony rather than rushing in. There may be traffic/accident along the way to the venue so leave a little extra buffer there as well! I don't know how bad traffic is in Ontario but if there are accidents here in Vancouver, travel time could easily double...!

    The time frame is fine since your starting early though you feel its not enough towards the end to have pictures with your family.

    My suggestion is get to your parents home for the hair and make up as that can cut the drive out of the question and more time for pictures. When your done and the MOH is getting ready, thats the time you get to have pictures done in that fame.

    Your schedule looks similar to mine, except we are starting hair and make up a little earlier 11 and hopefully finish by 2! Ceremony starts at 4 with a 25 min drive to the venue. Will your photographer be taking getting ready pictures! Lots of cute shots you can take to include your dog!

    All is well! Lol For the most part that time line seems pretty accurate to me. Any chance you could get photo's done as you are getting your hair and makeup done? and then while your MOH is having hers done you could have photo's taken at that time?
