There seems to be a lot of people on here who are struggling with getting their FUnturned Spouse involved with the wedding + planning.

So I wanted to make a thread dedicated to those who are having an wonderful time planning with the full involvement of their fiancé! Here is your place to brag people - let me hear how wonderful your future spouse is!
Mine is so involved with everything. He even asks me when we get to do planning next. We make all our decisions together and fully communicate everything for every step! I have more spare time than he does from work, so I end up doing more of the planning than he does, but he is always willing to jump in when he gets home from work. I’m loving this process and can not wait for our future 🥰

I’m so lucky to have a partner who wants to be involved! I’m definitely more the one to have a type A personality and want things to go a very specific way but then he’ll pipe in with an idea I’d never have thought of before and we implement it into the wedding! Having him be a part of the decision making 50/50 feels perfectly right since he gave me the opportunity of having a 50/50 say in the picking of my engagement ring 💍❤️

I love this bragging discussion!!
My fiance is so involved with the entire planning process and it is absolutely amazing. We make all of our decisions together and he helps out whenever he can. We have a wedding planner and she has mentioned to me how involved by fiance is and how nice that it to see. He isn't the type to make a Pinterest board but whenever we sit down and look at ideas, we have a great time. Can't wait to say I do!

My fiance is also really involved in the planning process. He actually thinks of things that I don't, which is awesome. When we first got engaged, I was worried that I would be the one doing all of the planning and I would be stressing out all the time.

We both work demanding jobs, so we end up doing most of our planning on the weekend however I get more time in my office to check things over so I end up doing most of the emails and calls.

We also discuss ideas and come to a decision together with everything. I know some people that say they would hate if their guys were as involved, but to me it shows that he is just as excited about our wedding as I am.

That’s so great! Teamwork is so important I find. I work less than my FH so I do more emails and such, but I always let him check the information before I hit send!
Good for you for being ahead of schedule. I feel like we are falling behind!

We have made sure we do everything as a team and that we are both happy with it (as it should be!!) While I've done most of the messaging suppliers, sorting out deposits, my FH has been amazing at keeping track of everything! Hes got a really good system and its meant we are keeping on top of our budget (although we are over it now).He also sorted out the photographer and band which are two big parts of the day 😀 we are pretty ahead of schedule I think!

I thought at first that he would be the worst at this stuff- but only because I am very Type-A and he is (exceptionally) laid back....but to my surprise- he has been so involved. He’s always asking questions and offering to call/email places, pick stuff up etc. He weighs in on colour choices and whatnot. And he’s always willing to pay for something random... like my shoes I was trying to order online. He’s really sweet and he’s always there when I need him. I have no complaints through this process ❤️

In the beginning my FH was awful awful AWFUL. Up until this month, really. When he realized we’re t-5 months to go and now HE’s the one booking all the remaining vendors and taking initiative to plan our cake and favors! It’s hilarious but I couldn’t have been more relieved to get some of my stress off!
Sometimes, he gets too confused if I present him with too many options, so I’ve found that when I narrow it down to what I like best he makes the final decision and it’s a win-win situation!!

Mine can be the king of "whatever you want" so I was really happy when he decided on a cupcake flavor at our tasting this week.
I knew we wanted vanilla, chocolate, and potentially lemon. He loved the cookies and cream cake so we went with four flavors!
Then when the design book came out he clammed up again and didn't care what our cake looked like...small victories I guess!He's also been surprisingly opinionated about hair choices. I was just scrolling through Pinterest and he pointed out a few he liked without me realizing he was paying attention.

he helps makes the finally decision after I did all the foot work. I don't mind at all, he does most of the paying. The times we did not agree he sat down and worked on it until we figured it out.

Mine took the time to create a huge Excel spreadsheet for our budget! It’s incredibly detailed and easy to use.
Mine also always tries to solve the issues quickly and helpfully. So lucky we are!

Love this! My fiancé is literally the best ever. He keeps us on track by updating expenses and everything on our website. When he really cares about something he speaks up and has told me what he thinks, which is pretty much exactly what I was thinking. When I say I need time to think he give me lots, and gentle reminders that I should be thinking about because I am forgetful. He loves to be involved in every decision and trusts my gut instincts. He is always there trying to make our vision work with ideas, quick amazon searches, and attention to detail. I seriously am so lucky.

Although I did most of the research he was a big help in picking things out and having an opinion - which is rare because usually his automatic response is "sounds good" to anything I say.
That, and also on the day of my wedding it was POURING and we were to have an outside ceremony... well although our venue people said it takes 4+ hours to put up the tent and it was 3 hours till people were set to arrive, him and his GM got the tent up in under an hour! Best surprise that day!

My FH loves wedding planning. He wanted to go to the last bridal show but since I was going with my mom he decided he would rather not. He gives me ideas of things he likes. He'll be meeting with all the vendors with me.

My fiance and I have planned everything together and he is enjoying it more than me lol! He has come to all the appointments, reached out to various vendors, helped with invitations, has paid the majority of budget this far and is just thoroughly being helpful and patient. I am loving the process with him and we cannot wait for our day. This whole experience is a positive, fun, one to remember!

I did most of the planning and budgeting for the wedding as my husband did come through at the end to pay for 2 things. He didn't show any interest until the backdrop rental place we had to go see. It was the opposite of working with me on the planning process as you two are doing.

We are two brides so we are both super involved and do everything together. From venues, to colour schemes, to photographers, to whatever else, we both have ideas and work together to try and create our vision. I’m incredibly lucky! 🥰

Agreed. My fiancé says he doesn’t care sometimes but he does 😂😂😂 from the venue to the colours to the invites and everything in between. Obviously he doesn’t want to do the whole wedding talk 24/7 (understandable) but he does help.

I can relate to this! I have done most of the planning - but I had such an idea ahead of time of the wedding I wanted and he was always on board. We chose our venue together and knew that food was always going to be the focus, so our venue was easy to decide. We have made all of our decisions together, and he has been excited about them all. I would say I still instigate the planning process but he is always engaged when I bring up the wedding and gives me the best opinions and buy in. We are just so excited for our wedding!
