Try buches direct i got all my flowers for 278 dollars they are out of ottawa and they sell bulk flowers too. You could always order something small to see if you like them

I’m choosing to grow and prepare my own flowers and bouquets ! a bit more work, but it will save us a bunch of money in the grand scheme. Plus i have a bit of a green thumb so i’m actually looking forward to the taskSmiley smile

These are my sola wood flowers. I can see them any colour I like. They last forever so I can resell them if I want. I cant wait to get started on them. I have everything except the paint to dye them, stem covers and glycerine. I'll be using them for centerpieces, bouquets, corsages, boutineers and I may try to make some swags...

Originally I was considering fake flowers, but my fiancé is against it... and man are they expensive where I am! Seriously. The craft store is selling one for $8-12.. one stem! Gah :/
My fiancé wants to hire a florist.. I’m perfectly happy with discount grocery store flowers!
There’s also an app (idk the name of it) but it connects you with other brides in your area so you have an option of selling or buying real flowers from other brides!
(We have a Friday wedding so I’m 100% taking advantage of it!)

If you’re considering faux flowers, I highly recommend Something Borrowed Blooms! They look and smell gorgeous and show up to your door step!

I'm team artificial flowers! They look just as good imo, usually cost less, and you can sell them afterwards if you want (I let my girls keep theirs and I kept mine though).

I think it all depends on your personal preference. For me, I prefer real flowers as opposed to faux flowers.

I’ve seen some faux flowers that look great though!

I’m getting married in October and I’m only doing real flowers for our bouquets, boutonnières and our head table, everything else is fake! A little fix of both😊 we are also having an outside wedding so we don’t need many flowers!!

It really depends on what you want an envision... with real flowers you’re looking at a bigger cost plus rentals for the centrepieces so it won’t be cheap. With fake flowers- slightly cheaper, and you can get them in any colour/ style you like. I loved a specific one that was in blue but my florist told me she wouldn’t be able to do that with real flowers ... personally I really want real flowers so I’m sticking to it. It’s all about what you want Smiley smile

Yes depending on what you want there are definitely some sellers on etsy. I ended up going through florals for less aand was really happy with what I received as well as their prompt responses.

I'm leaning towards faux. I can make them ahead of time to reduce my week of stress. Afterwards we can sell them and make a bit of our investment back.

If I can't find faux that I like (I'm super picky and will not settle for crappy fake flowers) I'll be using Costco. I've heard great things on here and from local brides too!
If you're up for a diy project and have the time (and help) then either can be a great option. If you aren't a diy person or you get easily stressed I would pay a pro!

I think it depends on your budget and if you're sentimental or not. I went with fake because I knew I would want to keep them and I knew what I wanted for a bouquet (recreating a bouquet he picked me when we first got together consisting on wildflowers) would be difficult if the flowers weren't in season. Plus real is more money and I didn't want to spend extra on something that would die/I couldn't keep.

I'm making my own. I decided to spray paint them. I just need to get a little greenery & can start putting it together. this isn't gonna to be how it's arranged, just needed them to stay together so my kids don't spread them all over my house Flowers 4
