Flower Girl Dress- Help!!

Hello,

Our flower girl is going to be 12 by the time the wedding comes around. We took her to David's bridal but were unable to find a dress that fit her and did show "too much".

I also looked at some shops that sell more first communion dresses, but they are all too small and cannot be ordered larger than a size 16.

She is currently about a size 16 (120 lbs) and the wedding is still 8 months out!

Does anyone know where we should be looking for dresses?

Located in London ON but willing to travel!

    What about a non-bridal store like the bay or le chateau etc

    Have you checked the 'junior bridesmaids' section at bridal stores? Since flower girls tend to be a bit younger (under the age of 9), I can see how their selection would be a bit limited. Here's the link to David's Bridal website for that specific category:

    Have any of the appropriate dresses come close to fitting at all? Could buy one and get it altered to have a corset back?
    I am having a similar worry about my flower girl dress (my flower girl is quite young so I expect she'll grow considerably in the next 7 months) and the corset back was a suggestion for the girl at my bridal salon.
