Heeelp! I can’t decide. So my bridesmaids are in a floral dress (no belt) with a purple shrug and I’ll be in white with purple lining in the skirt so you’ll see purple coming through. Do I put my flower girl in floral, plain white or plain purple?! There’s a really pretty purple floral dress I found (see pic) but I worry it won’t look right once we’re all together. I suppose one alternative too would be to buy another bridesmaid dress and make a smaller dress out of the material but I’m not positive if that’ll work.

I’ve finally settled on purple, now it’ll just be finding the dress. Hopefully spring will bring more, as I don’t want a traditional flower girl dress but just a casual sundress style. She’ll be 3 almost 4.

I actually like both of those dresses together! How old is your flower girl? Otherwise I would go with purple over white.

I agree, even though this does not appear to be the consensus.
buttt my favourite colour is purple, and plain purple flower girl dresses sound adorable...and maybe the girls can where them elsewhere (although that should be the case for the floral dress too)?

I agree with the Purple. I think having different patterns it would be too much going on. The purple would really compliment both you and your bridesmaids and bring everything together

I personally love both dress individually but not together. I feel like it’s a lot going on with the two patterns. I also think you should do the same dress material as bridemaid. I think a plain purple dress would be a really nice contrast.

I ditto this! Too much pattern has a risk of clashing if they aren't the same and might just be too much overall! A complimenting solid purple dress I think would accent everything perfectly!

I think it would look just fine! It's floral just like the BM dresses and it incorporates the purple from your dress too

I like the idea of having the flower girl in plain purple! I think it would really add to your look since your bridesmaids will have purple, and you'll have purple!
