Flower girl attire

Tegan, on February 28, 2020 at 13:47 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 9
Hey,
We have two flower girls - they are slightly older 8 & 10 and I am wondering where I could buy their dresses (in store or online). We are looking for a flowy, boho style dress for them.
Thanks in advance for the help!

I actually make and sell flower girl dresses (try on hundreds of dresses on kids all day). I would say talk to the girls and see their style. At that age they are going to have a few opinions and you want to make sure they are comfortable. Also a lot of 8-10 year olds wear sizes 12-16, which are really hard to fit. I would definitely look at trying them on at a Wedding store. The traditional puffy flower girl dress doesn't often suit an older girl, both their body shape and their personal style. I would have the girls try on a few styles and see what looks good on them. There are lots of options once you know the cut that they like and you can usually find lots of options once you know what you are looking for.

I found great dresses on H&M for our girls and another set at Zara for the "bigger kids" Smiley smile

Amazon? I didn’t go with the boho vibe but I ordered mine from amazon and totally love them. Just make sure you check out the reviews!

I would still check the bridesmaids sites like Azazie and see if they sell anything small enough. I imagine girls that age want to look and feel a little more grown up vs the poufy toddler dress that comes to mind. Some stores might have Easter and spring dresses out now too, so Old Navy and H&M would be worth looking into.

Will you do flower crowns for them? I love a boho flower girl crown!
