We've finally decided that we're going to go with Your Song by Elton John, which was my favourite from the beginning.

I'm excited, we're going to set aside some time to practice for our first dance, nothing fancy or anything but I'm clumsy and want to avoid tripping so I want to be prepared for any potential spin moments haha

We’re dancing to “Dear Bobby” by Yellowcard.
Not a traditional song- but.. it’s a good compromise for the FH as he’s really into pop punk and alternative metal. And I do enjoy me a good pop punk song.
It also has some really adorable lyrics about two old people who grow old together ❤️

I love that song from Aerosmith! Great choice!

We chose "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran (the Boyce Avenue cover) as we were high school sweethearts, dating for 10 years before getting married. The song was "perfect" for us!

We are going with Aerosmith's 'I Don't Want to Miss A Thing' (from the 1998 movie 'Armageddon'). We had previously considered 'All My Life' by Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville, but ultimately decided on this one as we danced to it the night I popped the question. That song is still on our definite 'Do Play' list for our wedding though!

"our song" is Garth Brook's Shameless but totally didn't work for a first dance song. My husband is definitely a country boy and wanted classic country so he chose George Strait's Carried Away 💜🥲 then we broke into my go-to wedding song that I'm known to be the only one on the dance floor for - Cotton Eyed Joe 😂😂 we had a great time.

That's a lovely song as a first dance! My fiance and I are actually using that exact same song for the ceremony entrance but we're going with the instrumental version by the piano guys!
