First dance songs

Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions!! I was scrolling through my playlist for something sweet & sentimental and i found a track that was released for Canada's delegation for the 2014 Sochi Olympics.: Living Out My Dreams by Canadian Artist Roch Voisine.

Better Place - Rachel Platten ( But this may be my walk song) I cry everytime I hear this.

Perfect - Ed Sheeran ft. Beyonce but only the version with Beyonce in it. SO SO SO MUCH BETTER. I don't care for the other one.

Or a fun one for you to dance to Mash it up too is Tie it up- Kelly Clarkson. (I am going to at least play it at my wedding).

Another favorite of mine (I think it maybe be too fast though) is Terry Clark- Longer (suits our relationship 100%)

That's When you know- Chris Buck Band ft. Kira Isabella.

My Fiance who is into heavier music so we are currently trying to find a happy medium......Lunatica- Power of Love for those who like or have a FH who like Heavier Music. Also Song for you by Lunatica.

A social song for us is Cirice by ghost.

I was dead set on having Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli, but I am hearing it everywhere, so that might change. A couple of other options are:

- Christina Perri- A Thousand Years

- Jason Mraz - I Won't Give Up

You could also do a mash up, and have a funky dance in the middle and then go back into a slow song.

Our song has always been “Baby I Love Your Way” by Peter Frampton. We’re both looking forward to officially making it our song!!

Choose a song that you both love and means something to you. My first dance was to ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran. I still get texts from my friends reminding them of my wedding every time they hear it on there radio.

We are dancing to From the Ground Up by Dan and Shay. A lot of people use the same
songs because the songs are absolutely beautiful so I don’t think a song can be too cliche for a first dance. Pick whatever song feels right to you

I think the important thing for a first dance is to have a meaningful song. (I'm sentimental anyway, so I am going to remember the song!)

We will be incorporating Thinking Out Loud in some way at our wedding because we sang it together early on in our relationship.

Our first dance will be "When God Made You" by Newsong and Natalie Grant because it is "our song".

We picked Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.

If "Perfect" had already been out, we definitely would have picked that, or at least played it during the reception as a dedication song.

We danced to a mash-up of Fly me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra and Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat.

I adore the song ""perfect" and if we were doing a slow dance thats probably the one id use. So many good song options out there though!

We decided to go with Hooked on a Feeling by Blue Swede for a more upbeat and fun song!
