First Dance? Short & Sweet

I think that's exactly what we will be doing!!

Pick a song you like and dance through a few minutes and then have others join you. It is something you can arrange ahead of time with your wedding party or you can have the MC invite other couples.

We had our first dance to Sea of Love by Cat Power - I think it's under 3 minutes. Nice and short.

We are the same way. To shorten our first dance we will have a minute or so of just us dancing and then the song will fade out into a different one and I will get my dad and he will get his mom and dance to that for a minute or so. That way it is only 2 minutes and we get both formal dances out of the way so we can party and not have to stress about everyone staring at me.

Hi Ashley! Will you guys have a DJ? The DJ can always fade out the song at an agreed upon time to cut the song shorter!

I'm the same way--don't like that much attention. We are playing "our song" as the first dance and after the first verse and chorus, we will have the MC (could be DJ but we probably aren't having a one) ask other couples to join us on the dance floor.
